Why Strong Supply Chain Partnerships Deliver Stronger Projects
In a busy and often challenging industry, developing long-term relationships with trusted construction supply chain partners can bring significant benefits, from supporting compliance with building regulations, reducing risk, and enhancing efficiency at every stage of the build.
Here at Senior Architectural Systems, we pride ourselves on nurturing such relationships with all our customers, whether they specify or fabricate our products. In fact, many of the contracts we have completed over the last 34 years have been a result of repeat business.
A Consistent Approach
Choosing to work with the same fenestration supplier over multiple projects creates a shared understanding. From system capabilities and lead times, to technical support and installation processes, everyone on the project team knows what to expect. In turn this can help to reduce the likelihood of delays and unexpected costs.
With a wide range of aluminium window, door and curtain wall systems all designed to work together, our product offering also makes it easier to achieve design continuity across different phases, sites and projects.

A great example of this is The Nest – a popular community sports hub named after Norwich FC’s famous former football ground. We are proud to have been involved in this evolving scheme since the very beginning, providing a range of aluminium fenestration systems that have continuously met the needs of the project architect Chaplin and Farrant.

The first contract was the biggest and we worked closely with our supply chain partner PAGE Group to supply aluminium windows, curtain wall systems, and doors for use on The Nest’s purpose built sports facility. This impressive building houses a range of facilities including the clubhouse, café and event space. Just adjacent to the main building are The Nest’s five ‘bunk boxes’, which provide accommodation for up to 14 people and feature our Ali Fold aluminium doors and SPW600 aluminium windows. Our stylish aluminium doors, installed by our supply chain partner Glass & Glazing Ltd, not only provide security but are extra wide to provide wheelchair access and contribute to the inclusivity of the space.
Most recently, we have also been involved in the creation of The Nest’s new charity shop and retail space. Here we supplied our Ali VU windows and SPW501 Commercial doors fabricated and installed by Vanguard Aluminium.

Working Together, Building Better
At Senior Architectural Systems, we understand that success in construction is rarely down to one product or one supplier. It’s the strength of the relationships behind the project that often makes the biggest difference.
Through long-term collaboration, we’re able to offer our customers not just high-performance aluminium fenestration systems, but the consistency, flexibility and technical support needed to keep projects on track and deliver long-term value.
When contractors and suppliers work together repeatedly, there’s a stronger opportunity to share feedback, create best practice and drive innovation. Whether it’s adapting products to meet specific project requirements or refining installation methods, collaborative working often leads to smarter solutions.
