The news about our innovative patented PURe® range of aluminium windows and doors is spreading fast. Since the launch of PURe® windows back in 2015, more and more architects and specifiers have chosen the PURe® range for their projects.
Style and performance
Elegance and performance, makes PURe® an architect’s dream.
The PURe® range is one of the most thermally efficient ranges on the market today, achieving U values as low as 0.71 W/m2K for PURe® windows and 0.93 W/m2K for PURe® doors (when calculated as a commercial CEN standard.) This incredible performance is due to a revolutionary thermal barrier of expanded polyurethane (PUR) foam.
Others have tried to copy the product, but thanks to the product’s patent which specifies the density of the PUR foam, the PURe® range remains unique. In fact, PURe® is the only range using the PUR thermal barrier which in able to achieve such low U values whilst offering slim sight lines.
Properties of the PURe® range make it an ideal choice for all sectors from education and leisure, to residential and hotels.
Here are just a few of the latest UK projects to be completed using the PURe® range.
Education
The PURe® range has been installed at schools and colleges across the UK. The system’s high thermal performance allows architects to achieve passive cooling of the building and reduce CO2 emissions by 3-4%. Not only does this reduce costs, with no need to install air conditioning, photovoltaics or other renewable technologies, but it also ensures that the government’s target CO2 emission rates are achieved.
In addition, high thermal performance gives furniture flexibility, with no need to locate radiators under windows. Instead heat sources can be sited next to the teacher station, on any of the walls, or even at high level.
