Following the devastating fire of the historic Weston-Super-Mare Grand Pier in July 2008, a futuristic new pier pavilion was designed by Bristol-based architects Angus Meek. The concept was chosen from six designs, shortlisted by the owners of the pier. To realise the ambitious plans for a cutting edge new pier, Senior Architectural Systems was the obvious choice for high performance fenestration.

The architecturally striking envelope features a host of state-of-the-art glazing solutions, including aluminium curtain wall and advanced thermally efficient windows and doors, all anodised in a marine quality silver finish to ensure maximum protection against the harsh elements of a British winter in the Bristol Channel.
