It was show time for Senior Architectural Systems at Ecobuild 2015 at London’s Excel from 3rd-5th March, as the UK’s largest privately owned designer and supplier of fenestration systems unveiled 4 new Eco products.
PURe® windows
Heading the line-up was the new range of PURe® windows, the first and only commercial aluminium window system in the UK to feature an innovative, enhanced structural thermal barrier manufactured from expanded polyurethane (PUR). The result is ultra-high performance aluminium windows with U-values as low as 0.71 W/m2K, when calculated as a commercial CEN standard window. Even better PURe® windows can improve CO2 calculations by up to 3% at minimal extra cost.
SF52 Curtain Wall
Next up was SF52, a highly flexible aluminium curtain walling system with consistent slim sight lines, offering visual consistency, a wide variety of aesthetics and enhanced thermal performance for both ground floor and high rise projects.
Upgraded Hybrid Series 2
The popular Hybrid Series 2 timber composite window system featuring aluminium externally and timber internally, has been upgraded and improved so that it can be easily internally glazed on site.
Aluminium Series 2
The new sister suite to Hybrid Series 2, Aluminium Series 2 features aluminium both internally and externally, giving identical external sight lines and appearance. This allows both window systems to be used on the same project whilst maintaining a uniform external appearance.
The combination of Hybrid Series 2 and Aluminium Series 2 is designed to give more choice, allowing Hybrid Series 2 to make an impact in high visibility areas and Aluminium Series 2 to keep costs down in low traffic areas.
PURe® is already available to order, whilst SF52, Hybrid Series 2 and Aluminium Series 2 will be available in the next few weeks.
Visiting Senior’s stand at Ecobuild, Chairman Lennart Jonsson said “Ecobuild was a very good event at which to launch our new energy efficient fenestration systems. We had a very pleasing number of visitors to the stand and there was a great deal of interest in all 4 new products, but particularly in the CO2 savings that can be made with our new PURe® windows.”
Since the show Senior have already taken two substantial orders for PURe® windows in the education sector.
