Senior Architectural Systems has chosen to preview two innovative new products at the 2014 FITshow.
As the UK’s largest privately owned fenestration company, Senior is constantly innovating to produce the next generation of evolved products, which not only exceed current legislation, but also keep the company ahead of its competition.
Fabricators and intallers visiting FITshow 2014 at Telford from 10th-12th June will be able to see two of Senior’s soon-to-be-launched new products on Stand 336 in Hall 3.
SF52 New Aluminium Curtain Wall
SF52 is a complete curtain walling system, offering specifiers flexibility and enhanced thermal performance to exceed current and meet future building regulations.
Whether ground floor or high rise, SF52 is the creative answer for both new projects and refurbishments. It has been designed to be exceptionally easy to fabricate without the need for punch tools.
With constant 52mm sight lines for both mullions and transoms the new curtain wall has an aesthetically pleasing uniform appearance. Even better, because only one size of aluminium bar is needed in its manufacture, profiles can be produced more economically allowing the cost benefit to be passed on to the fabricator.
The SF52 curtain wall is fully compatible with other windows and doors from Senior Architectural and is highly flexible allowing specifiers a wide choice of design options. Available with glazing ranges from 24mm to 50mm, easily allowing for triple glazing, SF52 is offered fully capped or silicone sealed with a variety of angles, slopes and window options including frameless vents.
The system can be ordered in an almost unlimited choice of finishes and single or dual colours whilst a large range of transom & mullion sizes and reinforcing sleeves and boxes are available to allow larger, unsupported spans, as well as the option for concealed steel reinforcing.
Also previewed at FITshow 2014 are Senior’s innovative range of aluminium windows incorporating a completely new concept in thermal breaks, giving ultra-low U values. The new windows which are set to revolutionise the window market will be available later in the year.
