Senior Glass Raise Funds For Scarborough Hospice

An amazing total raised for Saint Catherine’s Hospice – photo by Yorkshire Coast Radio

On Tuesday 1st April, Scarborough based Senior Glass Systems took part in the ‘Bring a pound to work’ day organised by Yorkshire Coast Radio, to raise funds local charity Saint Catherine’s Hospice.

It might have been April Fools day, but the 42 strong staff at Senior Glass took the day seriously raising £66 for this worthy cause.  The final total for the day raised via Yorkshire Coast radio was an amazing £7,500!

Saint Catherine’s Hospice is an adult’s hospice that cares for people with life limiting or life threatening conditions and their families from Scarborough, Whitby, Ryedale and parts of East Yorkshire.

Michelle Damms, Operations Director at Senior Glass Systems said “ We are delighted to have been able to help Yorkshire Coast Radio raise much needed funds for Saint Catherine’s Hospice.  As one of the major employers in Scarborough, we are very much part of the local community and are so pleased that we have been able to support such a worthwhile cause.”

Senior Glass Systems, a division of Senior Architectural Systems, operate from a dedicated 40,000 sq ft facility in Scarborough, producing high quality insulated glazed units for the fenestration markets.
