Primary Care Centre

The £20 million Centre boasts a number of green credentials, including a combined heat and power plant which generates approximately ten per cent of its own electricity, a sedum roof and Senior’s Hybrid timber and aluminium curtain wall system.

The investment in the NHS facility offered the architects the chance to design to a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating featuring cedar cladding to the exterior. The interior, using Senior Architectural Systems Hybrid products, benefited from a bright, modern working environment, using natural daylight from the large feature curtain walling and windows.

The building hosts a range of services including three local GP practices, paediatric and adult outpatient clinics, speech and language therapy, clinical psychology, children’s services, podiatry, physiotherapy, and community nursing.
