Grand Pier, Weston-super-Mare

Following the devastating fire of the historic Weston-super-Mare Grand Pier in July 2008, a futuristic new pier pavilion was designed by Bristol-based architects Angus Meek.

The concept was chosen from six designs, shortlisted by the owners of the pier, brother and sister Kerry and Michelle Michael.

To realise the ambitious plans for a cutting-edge new pier, Senior Architectural Systems was the obvious choice for high performance fenestration, finished in marine quality silver and anodised for maximum protection against the elements.
