Sure Start Children's Centres are service hubs where children under five years old and their families can receive seamless integrated services and information. By 2010, every community will be served by a Sure Start Children's Centre, offering permanent universal provision across the country, ensuring that every child gets the best start in life.

Built in the centre of Almondbury, a district of Huddersfield, the new building offers the latest facilities for the under five’s and is within easy walking distance for the majority of families in the area.

The architect specified Hybrid timber aluminium composite windows from Seniors in flush casement design. As main entrances are high traffic areas, SFG commercial aluminium doors were used coupled to automatic opening equipment.
